The Complete wiring setup for an MGB 3.4L 'L32' V6 Engine Swap!

The Primary and Secondary harnesses has been designed for the GM 3.4L SFI "L32" motor- AKA 1993-1995 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird OBD 1.5 system. This can also be used on any 1993-2005 system 1.5 or II which uses the X7 and X24 signals. The Primary harness is a plug in modular unit that attaches to the motor and PCM and stays on the motor if it should ever be removed with the simple disconnect of three main leads all coming from the same location. The Secondary replaces most of your motors original wiring and relays and is graft into the main harness of your automobile.

The Primary harness is a remanufactured OEM harness designed and reworked in our shop specifically for the MGB conversion, although it can be used on other GM SFI V6 conversion motors as well with some alterations. All plugs are checked for proper clips and pins, wires replaced, all unneeded items properly removed, wires shortened where needed and anything that is cut is soldered and shrink tubing is placed around any alteration. Loom or tape is wrapped as needed according to location for heat, colour wrapped to body or motor colour and more. The system is designed to plug into the motor and run to the Sequential Port Injected PCM with one section of outlets easily unplugged when removing or replacing the motor to avoid having to pull every wire off the motor! The plugs used to connect to a power source are GM-Delphi weathertight units built to withstand everything that could be given under the bonnet of your brute.

Our Uniquely separate Secondary harness is your way of making the MGB or other automobile harness compatible with the main engine harness. This secondary wiring harness AKA: "The Patch," is graft into your vehicle harness and has an easy Weatherpack quick-plug in system to the motor and PCM(ECU) harness. This disconnect system makes the harness both easy to work on and removal of the engine and engine harness much easier. No one else manufactures a two piece harness- BMC makes the wiring easy for you! The unit shown has the optional replacement panel for the BL wiring system. Model: 1-415
Instructions, technical advice and wiring diagrams accompany this harness. This unit is designed to replace and upgrade motor related relays already installed in the late model MGB and update other cars such as the MGA and early MGB, Midget or many other types of vehicles. All new wiring, relays and fuses not a cobbled original harness includes Modern blade fuses with high temp GXL wire that takes more punishment then standard primary wire that some use. Unlike most harnesses on the market today and those cheap units put out in bulk, our harnesses have all connections crimped with the proper equipment and then soldered and heat shrink tubing is placed on connections for protection and longevity. The GM-Delphi plugs provided are high end units designed for and used by GM in wet and dry conditions to prevent possible corrosion and promote long product life, not the low end units that corrode quickly and are only meant to keep out of the weather.
This system is built with the 1.5 computer outlets but can be altered to accept other stock PCMs as well as independent manufactured ECU systems with the correct replacement plugs.
