This Aluminum pipe plug is commonly used in many locations, especially in aluminium castings. We use this in non-power boost brake conversions (MGB 1962-1974.5) with the RWD 60*V6 engine such as the 3.4L, but may also be used in older engine variations.
When ordering an aluminium radiator from BMC, this plug fits the drain hole.
In Edelbrock dual plane manifolds, the unneeded additional sensors holes, originally meant for emissions devices are plugged with a couple of these.
