Fit the Late model Large radiator style to your 1962-1976 MGB with this Complete Radiator installation Panel and Hardware kit.
• This kit allows more engine bay space for larger engines and engines that have Forward Facing intake manifolds.
• The late model radiator fits in front of the anti-sway bar and was designed for V8 engines, which works with just about any engine conversion.
• Factory MGBGT V8 radiators came with opposite inlet and outlet of the 1977-1980 radiator, and large aluminium versions from BMC are also available.
• Besides for more engine bay space, the late radiators are much larger allowing for a greatly increased Cooling capacity.
• Main panels are manufactured by British Motor Heritage with all hardware provided in our installation kit.
• Left and Right Rods (shown in top middle of photo) between radiator panels and MGB Slam panel are manufactured by us to original British Leyland specifications as they are NLA everywhere else!
• Includes instructions in kit by BMC, for an easier Installation.
In house, we use this kit in all our MGBs conversions as it greatly simplifies the conversions and looks just like it should. No Frankenstein-ing whatever fits like some do!
Note: Requires sheet metal trimming. Welding optional. No Radiator or hoses are included in this kit. Suggested radiator depends on needed inlet/outlet locations, but is commonly a variation of the 1980 MGB radiator.
