This hose is used in the MGB 3.4L V6 conversion when the Camaro/Firebird timing cover is used in conjunction with the 1977-1980 (late model) MGB radiator. The hose size fits 1-1/4" to 1-5/16" and is a bit of a stretch to fit over the 1 3/8" cover used on some of the earlier engines and crate motor timing covers. Comes with rubber bushing to size up standard copper radiators, so radiator inlet size modification is not required.
The hose "steps" over the steering rack. The optional splice can be used to cut the hose in half, expand, and "clock" the hose in various directions.
Also order: 5-139 to allow this hose to be cut in two and gives more flexability to the cooling system build.
