The BMC Aluminium Radiator comes with your choice of a Filler Neck for an on the radiator cap, or without. When ordered without a filler neck, a late model MGB pressurized overflow tank must be used. Our installation preference uses the filler necks on Any year MGB.
This system is designed specifically for the MGB V6 3.4L Conversion with the 1993-1995 Camaro/Firebird 3.4L V6. but is also commonly used with any Rear-Drive GM 2.8/3.1/3.4L V6 1982-1995. If used with the 3400/3500/3900 engines, determne the inlet/outlet hose locations first.
This radiator s designed for the Forward Located (1977 - 1980) designed MGB panel system, but adds a Cap, Drain, hardware to fit a cooling fan on the engine side, and larger inlet/outlet pipes facing in the same direction as the factory 1.8L 4 cylinder engine.
For 1962-1976 MGBs, our radiator installation panel kit is required, and the BMC Designed Air Box fits these systems like they were designed by the original creators of the MGB.
The NPT Drain on the bottom tank can be used as an optional lower thermo-switch plug for engines running carburetor.
