When running the 4L60-E Automatic, the wiring (and subsequently the PCM) needs the extra connections.
Most usually, the Sub Wiring Loom of the 3.4L Camaro/Firebird engine is still in usable shape. Save money and reuse what you have, unless you know it is in poor shape. PLEASE NOTE: If you are running this wiring with a different engine (3400, 3500, Other), please let us know as these other engines will require a different injector loom! We can help you out building your own, or we can build these for you.

Our Fuel Injection is straight forward. Comparatively, if you were installing a different engine with a carburetor into any car: ignition power, a starter, alternator, tachometer, cooling fan, fuel pump, temperature sender, and oil pressure would have to be wired in. If you are capable of wiring in a carbureted engine, you can do the fuel injection system with BMC- Easy!

The one and only BMC Produced 3.4L V6 Wiring Loom is a two part wiring kit that allows the use of the well designed and compact Camaro/Firebird 3.4L 'L32' late PCM, 3.4L Iron Head SFI (Sequential Port Fuel Injection) engine, and standard (or modified) factory intake manifold. We have dyno'ed these engines in Standard form and the normal output of these engines is 165 BHP and 220 Lb-Tq Before any PCM tunes, compression, camshaft or other modifications to the engine. Sticking with Fuel injection gives a wide powerband, and good economy even when the driver is heavy on the "Loud Pedal." With Slight modification, the engines can easily achieve 215 BHP and 250 Lb-Tq, and More. This wiring Should be on the top of your list to order! If Air Conditioning is planned in the distant future, the air conditioning option should be ordered right away to avoid extra costs and difficulties down the road.3100, 3400, and some 3500 and 3900: This wiring can be fit to alternate GM 60*V6 engines, as long as all the standard 3.4 'L32' sensors can be mimicked, with similar injectors, and correct software for the PCM. It should be noted that the later aluminum head engines are in fact, a much larger and more difficult step to take, so it is not often utilized. If this is a direction you want to go- speak to us before starting down that path.
