The 3-540 BMC Clutch system includes:
• Cast Flywheel: Internally balanced Light weight flywheel, for those who plan some spirited driving but still guaranteed a smooth idle. When reinstalling an engine, the original flywheel should be resurfaced, and as our flywheel offers a lot less weight and is within reason of the cost of resurfacing your current HEAVY flywheel, we Highly Recommend you Take Advantage of our new flywheel.
• Clutch kit: Choose spline count based on your Borg-Warner/Tremec T5 conversion. These clutch systems have been test in standard and higher requirement environments. Although we highly recommend replacement of the clutch, we understand that some may want to get a little more use out of the clutch that came with your engine. Our kits come in 10, 14, and 26 spline inputs, with other options available. Although we Highly recommend clutch replacement, if you decide to continue to run the unit that came with your project, we have the Opt-Out (No Clutch Kit) of a clutch available in this order.
• Complete HTOB Assembly: Eliminate the hassle of sourcing parts from multiple sources. Our hydraulic throw out bearing kit includes everything you need for a straightforward installation in the MGB and many other conversions. This includes hoses, bleeder, line to the master cylinder and banjo fittings. You supply the original Master cylinder and fitting connected to the standard master cylinder, and we'll pick it up from there! Our complete kit will bolt straight up to the original fittings and look the part in the engine bay- just follow the instructions. We provide all the high-quality hardware required for a secure and leak-free installation, guaranteeing peace of mind. We've sold these systems for better than two decades and only recommend DOT3 hydraulic fluid in them for a worry free, reliable system.
• Installation Hardware: flywheel bolt set, clutch bolt set, all HTOB lines, fasteners, fittings and hardware. (Not all hardware is shown in the photo)
• Instructions: included with the complete kit.
• Optional Bearing Retainer: The bearing retainer is fit to the front of your T5 five-speed. The standard unit fit to most GM T5 systems, although shorter than we would like, actually works acceptably. If you are rebuilding your gearbox, or tearing it down to check or shim bearings, we offer three new units. Our standard unit will fit most standard all GM set-ups.
